A chance meeting in 2008 led to the creation of the refreshingly unconventional and unpredictable luxury

collective, Gallery58 London. Founders Steph Aman and Paul Seville who were already highly accomplished

fashion designers in their own right, both relishing in the unexpected, seamlessly managed to blend their

expertise. Fusing textile design and embroidery with haute couture, artisan skills and tailoring with corsetry,

via their delightfully dark, raw decadent world.

Married a year after their first meeting, the exclusive Gallery58 creations are a blend of life, love and work.

The collections from Gallery58, feature bespoke sculptured leather bustiers, corsetry and belts, accessories

and body jewellery, classic silk evening wear and haute couture objects of desire in silk and leather.

Each creation captures the designers deliciously decadent and debauched design palette, and is inspired by

their Irish and Anglo-American heritage. Just think of it as Jacobean high drama meets Victorian macabre.

‘it was always our ambition to create and design the silk collections alongside the leather collections to both

compliment and fit seamlessly together. We never force the materials to work together, it is an organic

process that happens naturally. All the products must be stand alone individual creations but with the

complimentary designs available in silk and leather at Gallery58, we offer an entirely unique and completely

unrivaled style. The ethos remains the same, all designs must be functional and aesthetically pleasing,

collectable and timeless, like a piece of jewellery.

Every Gallery58 creation is designed by Seville + Aman & made by hand at their atelier. This is where they

embroider the silks using free drawn machine embroidery, think of the machine needle as the pen & the

thread of the machine as the ink & the flow of the design is 100% free drawn, this is where the leathers are

burnt, moulded, dyed by hand, carved & sculptured enhancing the natural characteristics of the skins. The

techniques used in these processes have been uniquely developed over a 30 year career.

‘Keeping traditional skills alive & the appreciation & execution of fine craftsmanship is at the heart of every

product we develop. We source the highest quality leathers & silks to use but also strongly believe that

sustainability is not just about the materials its also about creating skillfully made products that will last a

lifetime. Nothing we create is mass produced!

Paul Seville has collaborated with a number of fashion houses from Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld,

Givenchy, Vivienne Westwood & many more over the years, creating Leather accessories & Showpieces for

their collections & catwalk shows. Collectors of their creations range from Madonna, Angelina Jolie,

Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland & Siouxsie Sioux.
