Beauty and innovative design are underlined by exceptional craftsmanship, with each garment made by hand in the Daniel Hanson artisan workshop in Nottingham, by his son Nicholas, using techniques honed over generations and the highest quality fabrics sourced from around the globe.

 

Nicholas describes himself as ‘a tailor by heritage and a skateboarder by nature,’ and the two sides of his life enrich his clothing with the spirit of experimentation and play that define his aesthetic. His collections at Light House are a meeting of the urban and the bucolic. It includes dressing gowns, kimonos, smoking jackets and casual-wear created using a range of fabrics that each tell a story: From genuine antique tapestries and embroideries to unique ‘strike-off’ pieces made from fabric mill test samples.
